Our
small but exclusive breeding program is located in the French-speaking
part of Switzerland between Geneva and Lausanne. We aim to breed
healthy and strong horses to perform in competitions as well as for
your leisure purposes.
We choose our mares and studs
with attention to performing bloodlines, strong foundation and build as
well as a balanced character. Our mares have varied origins such as
all-around performance, reining, cutting and cow-horse.
The health, long livity and social behaviour of our horses are of utmost importance to us.
As
horses naturally live in herds, our horses live year-round together on
wide pastures in a group of mares, foals and other horses. During
spring, the broodmares give birth surrounded by their mates which
creates a very social group.
.

Our
horses live barehoof. Hoofcare starts during the first three months of
life so that our horses are still sound at 30 years of age. Did you
know that a horse has a life expectancy of 30 to 40 years if maintained
in natural living conditions?
We
breed Quarter horses that are well educated, have respect for humans
and can do nearly anything you want them to. No matter if you just want
to go on a trail ride or participate in competitions, our horses are a
lot of fun.

The
foals are weaned at 6 months from their mothers and grow up together in
a herd with a couple of older and experienced horses. The broodmares
can then prepare themselves for the next birth. The yearling colts form
a different herd of young stallions on another pasture.
Our stallion "Skippy"
is not living in isolation either. During springtime, he is free
to mount the mares in the herd and lives happily ever after with his
mares and foals.
The
foals are used to humans from early on after they are born. At 3
months, they are easy to lead, used to hoof trimming and go into a van
at ease. At 6 months, our foals are for sale and can stay with us in
livery if wanted.
